B.I.G’s agency has addressed the recent controversy over the end of their contract with Heedo.
On October 31, Heedo personally announced on Instagram that his contract with GH Entertainment had ended as of that day. A week later, he went on to open a new Instagram account—but shortly afterwards, the account was made private.
As speculation grew that GH Entertainment had blocked Heedo from using his Instagram account, the agency denied the rumors in an official statement on November 9.
“It is completely untrue that we blocked Heedo from his personal social media account,” said GH Entertainment.
The agency went on, “We are currently reviewing the legal possibility of extending Heedo’s contract period for the time during which Heedo’s group activities with B.I.G were halted due to his activities outside of the group. We will make another announcement when everything has been finalized.”
Heedo, who originally debuted as a member of B.I.G in 2014, recently competed on JTBC’s survival show “Peak Time” as a member of Team 24:00.
