Dua Lipa will release her brand new single called Training Season in just three weeks, she announced on Thursday.
The hitmaker, 28, took to Instagram to share a 30-seconds snippet of her new song which will be out February 15th and is available to pre-order now.
This is the second single Dua has announced from her upcoming album, which releases later this year.
Her first single Houdini marked the first new solo music released by the Grammy-winning artist since her 2020 Future Nostalgia record.
She has since dropped collaborative songs, including her hit feature Dance the Night Away written for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie.
For the big announcement, Dua shared an album cover hanging from a silver pole dressed in a racy bodysuit.
Speaking of the track, Dua shared: ‘I had been on a string of bad dates, and the last one was the final straw.
‘The next morning I arrived to the studio to Caroline and Tobias asking me how it all went and I immediately declared “training season is over” and like the best “day after” debriefs with your mates, we had a lot of laughs and it all quickly came together from there.
She added: ‘And while it is obviously about that feeling when you are just absolutely done telling people…men specifically in this case and how to date you right, it is also about my training season being over and me growing with every experience.
‘I have never felt more confident, clear or empowered. And while it may be that training season is never over for any of us, you start to see the beauty in finding that person to experience it with.
‘You stop looking for the trainees and become more interested in having someone where you are and someone to grow with.’
Dua rose to fame with her debut album, Dua Lipa, and her latest album, Future Nostalgia, which just surpassed 10 billion streams.
The proud release of the upcoming single comes after her new boyfriend Callum Turner revealed whether he will accompany her to next month’s Grammy Awards as he opened up about their relationship on Wednesday.
The British actor, 33, and the singer confirmed their relationship after a very public display of affection in Hollywood earlier this month.
As One Kiss hitmaker Dua has two nominations at this year’s Grammys, fans have questioned whether Callum will be supporting her at the star-studded event which will take place on February 4.
Pop superstar Dua released the song of the summer with her hit Dance The Night from the Barbie blockbuster film.
And the singer, who also starred in the film, is nominated for Song of the Year with the chart topper, which reached number one in the UK charts back in August.
The track is also nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
But her new love interest Callum has confirmed to ET that he will not be attending the awards as her plus one.
The Fantastic Beasts star simply said: ‘No. I’m not a musician.’
When told that he had been seen ‘dancing the night away’ with Dua, he replied: ‘I don’t know about that’.
Earlier this month, Callum and Dua couldn’t keep their hands off each other at a romantic dinner date at Sushi Park.
Callum wrapped his arms around Dua who cupped his face before leaning in for a lingering kiss.
The Houdini singer showed made no attempt to hide from onlookers as she frolicked with the actor on a balcony overlooking the street.
Dua previously put on a cosy display with her boyfriend as she supported him at a Q&A session for his new series Masters of the Air.
It comes after Callum and Dua were spotted getting cozy at a Beverly Hills party for the new Steven Spielberg series Masters Of The Air, it has been claimed.
In footage obtained by TMZ earlier this month, the pop superstar was briefly glimpsed slow-dancing with Callum.
‘It’s new, but they’re mad about each other,’ an insider now tells Page Six, adding: ‘She was at the premiere to support him.’
The pair were seen with their faces close together, though it was unclear whether they locked lips during their romantic interlude.
As he left the party, the 6′2″ hunk was asked whether he and Dua were an item – and rather than issuing a denial, he poured fuel on the fire by remaining coyly silent.
Callum is one of the principal cast members on the series, which has Steven Spielberg as one of its producers and Cary Fukunaga as one of its directors.
Dua is not involved with the series, throwing a cloud of conjecture over her attendance at its party.
The glittering affair was thrown at Avra, an upscale Mediterranean seafood restaurant in the Golden Triangle area of Beverly Hills.
Dua’s latest romance comes hot off the heels of her alleged breakup from her steamy French boyfriend Romain Gavras.
Romain is the ‘nepo baby’ of Costa-Gavras, the acclaimed Greco-French director of such classic leftist films as Z and State Of Siege.
Reports began circulating in December that Dua and Romain had brought the curtain down on their months-long relationship.
‘Dua and Romain have gone their separate ways after a summer of love,’ an insider informed The Sun. ‘She has blinkers on when it comes to her career and the pair ended the relationship before things turned sour.’
The source continued: ‘Romain considered Dua to be a workaholic but she doesn’t plan on slowing down for anything or anyone.’
Their romance burst onto the scene last March when they were spotted kissing backstage at the Saint Laurent show during Paris Fashion Week.
Romain, who has directed a variety of music videos including for Bad Girls by MIA, previously dated Dua’s fellow Albanian-British pop singer Rita Ora.
Meanwhile Callum was briefly linked last year to English model Mathilda Lowther, granddaughter of the 7th Earl of Lonsdale.
Before that, he spent four years involved with Vanessa Kirby, who shot to international fame as Princess Margaret on the first two seasons of The Crown.
They first became involved in 2015 after co-starring in the 2014 romantic drama Queen & Country, a British period piece set against the backdrop of the Korean War and the coronation of Elizabeth II.
In early 2020, rumours spread that Vanessa and Callum had split up because their chockablock shooting schedules had created distance between them.
‘Vanessa and Callum are both rising stars in the acting world and in the last few years they have been flooded with offers. It’s a really exciting time for them both,’ an insider spilled to The Sun in February 2020.
But as their careers have taken off, their relationship has suffered and they have gradually grown apart. It’s very sad as they were once so close. But last year they made the difficult decision to go their separate ways and they both think it’s for the best. It’s all very amicable – things just weren’t working out.’
