EastEnders star Heather Peace has shared a sweet date night snap with her wife of 10 years.
The actress, who has played Stacey Slater’s wife Eve Unwin in the long-running soap since 2021, took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a peek at date night with her real-life partner, Ellie Dickinson.
“Kids safely tucked up in bed. 20 years of knowing each other, 13 years together, 10 years of marriage and three amazing children. We’re doing ok,” she wrote atop a picture of her kissing Ellie’s cheek.

Replying to various fans and well-wishers in the post’s comments, Peace said the evening consisted of “a lovely dinner and uninterrupted chat,” and added that “Date night is a very new concept for us and is really quite wonderful.”
Peace went on to clarify that it wasn’t the pair’s anniversary, but just a spontaneous rendezvous between the two, who share three daughters together.
“It’s not our anniversary,” she explained.
“It’s just a random date night which we’ve not had for many years as the girls were small. But they’re at an age now where we can start to have a bit of time together again. It’s lovely.”

The couple entered a civil partnership in 2013, and converted it to a marriage a year later. Their first daughter was born in 2015 and they later had twins in 2017.
EastEnders recently aired a dark storyline for Peace’s character Eve; she came face to face with ‘Amanda’, who revealed herself as Caz – the woman who killed Eve’s sister in a car accident years prior.
The revelation resulted in Eve sleeping rough and drinking heavily.
EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer.
