Hundreds of foreign and dual nationals and dozens of injured Palestinians are expected to leave Gaza via the Rafah border crossing to Egypt on Thursday, according to Gaza’s border authority. Nearly 600 foreign-passport holders are listed as eligible to depart on Thursday, including 400 Americans. Israel said its troops are continuing to “advance in the area of Gaza City,” amid a ground assault in Gaza that has been shrouded in secrecy. The United Nations condemned a series of deadly Israeli airstrikes on the Jabalya refugee camp in the past two days, saying they “could amount to war crimes.” Israel said the strikes targeted Hamas operatives and infrastructure.
