SBS has teased another year of amazing dramas to look forward to!
On January 11, SBS unveiled their drama lineup for 2024, sharing exciting new dramas with star-studded lineups to look forward to in the coming year.

“Flex x Cop”
“Flex x Cop” is about immature third-generation chaebol Jin Yi Soo (Ahn Bo Hyun) who becomes a detective due to his privileged background and Lee Kang Hyun (Park Ji Hyun), a workaholic veteran detective who is also the first female team leader in the Homicide Department. The drama is slated to premiere on January 26 and will air every Friday and Saturday at 10 p.m. KST.
“The Revival of the Seven”
Season 2 of the hit drama “The Escape of the Seven,” which aired earlier in 2023, “The Revival of the Seven” is a revenge story about a man who dreams of becoming the king of a castle built on fake news and seven people’s counterattack against evil. Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, and more will be returning to the show, and “The Revival of the Seven” is slated to premiere in March 2024.

“Connection” is a crime investigation thriller drama which depicts a distorted friendship while tracking the death of a friend from high school who died leaving behind 5 billion won (approximately $3.7 million) in insurance. Director Lee Tae Gon and writer Lee Hyun, who previously worked together for JTBC’s “Diary of a Prosecutor,” will reunite once again. Ji Sung will star as Jang Jae Kyung, a well-respected detective who is the ace of the narcotics unit, and Jeon Mi Do will star as Oh Yoon Jin, an opinionated and outspoken reporter who works at a newspaper.
“Not Very Strong But Charming Violent Crimes Unit”
“Not Very Strong But Charming Violent Crimes Unit” (literal title) is a comic crime drama that follows the transformation of the country’s lowest-ranking violent crimes unit into the nation’s top team after they are paired with a highly skilled team leader. The drama is penned by screenwriters Lee Young Chul, known for the “High Kick” series and “The Best Hit,” and Lee Kwang Jae of “Potato Star 2013QR3.” Kim Dong Wook will play Dongbang Yoo Bin, the intelligent and athletic head of the Songwon Police Station’s homicide squad. The drama will also star Park Ji Hwan, Seo Hyun Woo, Park Se Wan, and Lee Seung Woo.
“Acquaintances” (working title) is an upcoming romance drama about Ji Yoon (Han Ji Min), a prickly and aloof CEO of a successful headhunting company who is fantastic at her job but inept at everything else, and Eun Ho (Lee Joon Hyuk), her highly competent secretary who is great at not only his job but also childcare and housework. Eun Ho is a single father who has flawless manners and a warm personality, and as a person anyone would want to reply on, he winds up taking care of the clumsy Ji Yoon as her secretary.
“The Judge From Hell”
“The Judge from Hell” (literal title) is a romance fantasy drama about a demon from hell who has entered the body of Judge Kang Bit Na (Park Shin Hye). The demon has come from hell on a mission: she must punish those who feel no remorse despite being responsible for the death of other people, and her duty is to send them to hell by killing them. Along the way, she meets Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), a warm-hearted detective in the violent crimes unit. Not only is he caring and gentle, but he is also a sharp and perceptive police officer with exceptional powers of observation. Despite being so warm that he can even melt the heart of a demon, Han Da On is secretly hiding a painful emotional wound that no one else knows about.
“Fiery Priest 2”
After a successful run in 2019, “The Fiery Priest” will be returning with a new season! “The Fiery Priest” followed the story of a Catholic priest Kim Hae Il (Kim Nam Gil) with anger management issues and a cowardly detective who work together to solve a murder case. Season 1 starred Kim Nam Gil, Honey Lee, and Kim Sung Kyun, and the drama recorded a peak viewership rating of 22.0 percent. Season 2 of “The Fiery Priest” reportedly consists of 12 episodes.
